Pucklechurch Parish Council is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Silver Award in the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) Local Council Award Scheme which assesses councils against a range of best practice criteria to ensure they are well-managed, efficient, and responsive to the needs of their communities. This prestigious award is a significant achievement for Pucklechurch Parish Council and recognises its continued commitment to good governance, financial management, transparency and engagement with the community above and beyond its statutory obligations.

This Award Scheme celebrates the hard work of local councils in setting high standards and delivering effective services. Councillor Gail Boyle, Pucklechurch Parish Council Chair, said:

“For a smaller council like ours this was no mean feat and is testament to the hard work and dedication of our clerk and councillors. In achieving the Silver Award, Pucklechurch Parish Councill has demonstrated that it is at the forefront of best practices in local government, has clear policies and procedure and is well-positioned to continue working collaboratively with residents and local organisations to improve its services for the community.

Thank you to everyone in the community who engages with and support our work, and we look forward to building on this success in the months and years ahead.”
