Winterbourne Medieval Barn Trust has organised a wide range of community activities at the Barn for 2026. Various lists of these in different formats are attached. Please feel free to share these anywhere you can.
Winterbourne Medieval Barn is a grade 2* heritage building of national importance, Built in 1342, it showcases state-of-the-art 14th century craftsmanship in its magnificent timbered roof. The building is owned by South Glos Council and managed by a trust (WMBT) of local volunteers. The building is open for community events, some of which are free, about 50 days a year. It is also available for private hire, particularly for weddings and big celebrations.
The purpose of events at the Barn is to raise money for WMBT to support conservation, management, maintenance and improvement of the site, and make the building available to local residents as a heritage education resource.
If you've never seen inside the Barn, do come along!
